I can’t find any information that is definite about being able to store the foods listed above in mylar bags for long term storage. Please don’t answer unless you know for sure. thanks

How long is long term?
Roasted coffee goes bad no matter what you do to it. You can slow it a bit if it’s nitrogen flushed, but you’ll just get 2-3 weeks to become 1-2 months. Then it’s stale & tastes bad (still safe). Green coffee can be stored for around 18 months, but it needs air so you can’t store it as described. Fresh roasted beans release CO2, so storing in a sealed, unvented bag is bad for fresh coffee.
Tea should be stored away from light & air. The bag would help for air. Loose tea, stored properly, will last up to 2 years. In one of these bags
Dry dog food, like human food, shouldn’t be stored too long without eating or throwing out. If you store it as described, I would expect it to last around 18 months as long as there’s no moisture in the bag.
The problem is that these items aren’t meant for long term storage (esp. the dog food). The coffee needs to be stale before packing (CO2). It & the tea won’t be dangerous, they’ll just lose flavor. The dog food can be dangerous, though.

This isn’t what you wanted, but Sweet Maria’s, the green coffee importer, has recently taken to storing green coffee (which normally goes stale in a year or less) in gas-impermeable bags made by Grain Pro. These are not mylar bags with oxygen absorbers, but the principle is similar enough that mylar bags should work, at least for green coffee. Several companies ship tea in mylar bags, and I found a report of Chinese tea lovers using mylar bags, so it should work well for tea also.

I use organic food, all type of food should be good, but do watch out for fleas. My puppy really hates those and his health improved once I used http://bit.ly/ybJlb (the fuminator), works wonders!
